Description

Heavy Duty upgrade for your lanyard. Do you want a double sided ribbon lanyard, that is strong enough for a stack of keys with a removable key fob ring? No problem. This listing is to upgrade a regular grosgrain ribbon lanyard of any style (over 1500 choices) to a heavy duty lanyard that can hold your ID card, more keys, cell phone, or coin purse or clutch. Includes a heavy duty quick release buckle for quick removal of key fob end. The webbing will be cut to the size of your lanyard ordered, heat sealed and sewn to the back of your lanyard.

RIBBON BACKING CHOICES

Webbing Color Choices: Solid Colors We have 24 solid colors to choose from for your nylon webbing backing. Either pick a matching color, or your might prefer a good neutral color like black or white. Try a bold new color sewn on for a personalized flair. Last picture shows numbered color choices for this listing

Buckle Colors You have so many options for this upgrade backing listing. Do you want a colorful buckle that matches or makes your lanyard very unique? There are 16 colors of buckles for those who do not want the standard black. If you are curious what a color looks like with the ribbon of your choice, just please message with the category/# of your lanyard choice.  I will be happy to pull it and take a quick pic with the buckle/buckles of your choice so you can see what it will look like.

Breakaway Clasp The breakaway clasp will lay at back of your neck on the lanyard. It is only available in black color. It is a safety feature that comes apart with a quick, hard tug if you were to get your lanyard caught in a door, drawer, machinery, by a person or any other unforeseen instance. Some do not prefer the breakaway clasp, as it is smoother and can feel more comfortable without the plastic piece at your neck. If you prefer no breakaway, that is no problem, just leave a comment when checking out or message to let me know. 

About Nylon Webbing

Nylon Webbing is very strong, water resistant, and is used in many outdoor applications. Yet it is soft enough to be comfortable for wearing. I tested a number of different webbings before settling on nylon, with its slicker and smooth feel compared to the roughness of much other webbing. It is 1″ wide. It comes in several solid colors. 

How it began?

The inspiration for this design. The heavy duty option was made at the request of a dear customer who needed an extra strong lanyard to hold heavy keys plus a way to easily remove them from her neck strap. I appreciate her input, encouragement and suggestions along the way. Thank you ~
